With #MothersDay fast approaching, I thought I’d give you some inexpensive Mother’s Day inspiration for the moms in your life! If you’re the mom in your life, then you can forward this link to your hubby or kids haha.
1. I think receiving a gift card to a local garden store would be lovely. In the card you could mention that you’ll donate X amount of hours of ‘man-labour’ to help in the garden as well. With the warmer weather finally starting to roll in, this would be a wonderful gift that also includes fun family time!
2. Assuming the weather is nice on Mother’s Day, packing a picnic lunch as well as some outdoor activities like kite flying would be an amazing way to spend time together as a family that doesn’t cost very much. You could even make the kite together!
3. As many of you know, I’m an ambassador for The Honest Company. They put together fabulous Honest Bundles for the whole family whose value is as amazing as their product quality. One of their available bundles is the Essentials Bundle. In this bundle you can choose any 5 cleaning products which are non-toxic, never tested on animals and smell (and work) amazingly! Moreover, you can choose to have your bundle ship as often as you like so you’re never locked into buying items when you still have plenty in your cupboards (you can cancel your bundle at any time too). As a Mother’s Day special, Honest is including an aromatic soy candle for free (a $19.95US value) with every bundle purchase between April 27th and May 10th! Just choose your bundle here
and make sure to add CANDLE4MOM at the checkout! These candles are made from non-GMO soy, essential oils, and unadulterated plant extracts. You can choose from Gardenia Jasmine, Lavender Vanilla or Orange Cypress scent! How do you make this an extra fab Mother’s Day gift? Tell the mom in your life that the ‘first clean’ is on the family! Invite mom to relax in the tub (maybe with Honest’s bubble bath
) with her aromatic soy candle burning in the bathroom while you lovingly give the house some elbow grease!
Make sure to share this post with anyone in your life who may benefit from some gift-giving ideas or if you’re a mom, share this post on your Facebook to help with some hint-hinting for your loved ones!
